Experience

Designed all county roads funded through the State of Mississippi in Alcorn County for approximately eight (8) years in the 1970's and supervised the construction of these roads.

Provided design and construction inspection and quality control testing for intersection improvements in the City of Corinth for the Shiloh at Harper intersection. This intersection was designed to change it from a five-point intersection to a conventional four-point intersection with channelized lanes and electronic signals.

Designed several commercial site plans in north Mississippi and south Tennessee for furniture stores, franchise restaurants, shopping centers, and convenience stores.

 

 

 

Provided design services for residential and industrial water supply and wastewater disposal facilities. Established initial design and construction of several rural water supply and distribution systems in Alcorn, Tippah, and Benton counties in Mississippi and in McNairy, Hardin, and Hardeman counties in Tennessee. Provided design for first zero discharge wastewater system in the state for small resort on Tennessee River in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.

Performed exploratory work and made recommendations for the design of the original foundation and foundations for subsequent additions for multi-story hospital in Corinth from 1964 to present including quality control testing and caisson inspection.

Performed pile load test for Hall of Mississippi (now Quebecor) circa 1980.

Performed numerous foundation inspections of commercial and residential buildings in active clay conditions and prepared reports from 1975 to present.

Served as expert witness in Civil Court and Federal Court on survey land line disputes, personal injury suits, and structural damage suits.
